By law, businesses must make single-occupant bathrooms available for persons of any gender. A sign must be posted near the bathroom's entrance indicating that it is open to all genders.
If a commercial establishment has both gender-specific restrooms and a single-occupant restroom, it must post a sign at the gender-specific restroom that gives the location of the single-occupancy restroom.
